JESSE LOUIS JACKSON, JR….. THE CHICAGO WAY?

After 17 years representing Illinois 2nd District, Junior resigned his Congressional seat back in November, and is now in negotiations with federal prosecutors regarding the $750K he took from his campaign funds to buy krap like Jimmy Hendrix and Michael Jackson memorabilia!  SERIOUSLY?  THIS IS THE SHIT HE COULDN’T LIVE WITHOUT? 

What a flipping DUMBASS!  I would have bought a house in the Caymans!

The FORMER [I love the sound of that] Democratic representative from Illinois, pleaded guilty on Wednesday to one count of wire and mail fraud in connection with his use of $750,000 in campaign funds to buy exotic items like fur capes and celebrity memorabilia.  Surely that’s not the ONLY count against this asshat.

And then, a few hours later, his wife, Sandra Jackson, [a former Chicago alderman] pleaded guilty to filing false joint federal income tax returns that knowingly understated the income the couple received.  She faces one to two years in prison and a fine of $3,000 to $40,000.  DOES THIS GIVE ANYONE A CLUE AS TO WHY CHICAGO IS SPINNING DOWN THE TOILET?

Justice would be for these two felons to have to share a 10’x 10’ cell for the duration of their sentences.  Wouldn’t they look stunning in matching stripes?

This is all well and good – but MY problem is that this flaming piece of krap MAY be eligible to receive his CONGRESSIONAL PENSION! 

Unless Jackson is convicted of a felony that would prevent him from collecting his congressional pension, he would be entitled to about $45,000 in annual benefits when he turns 62.  CAN YOU SAY PLEA BARGAIN‼‼

I find it incredulous that the Congress didn’t kick his ass out and strip him of any and all conceivable benefits FOREVER.  But then, if they were to do that for all the crooks on Capitol Hill, who would run the government?
