10/29/2012:  Barack Obama, playing the president, held a meeting in the White House situation room to deploy…… utility crews to the northeast.  Photo ops all ‘round.

9/11/2012:  Too bad he couldn’t play the president and deploy help to Americans under attack, and subsequently DYING, in Benghazi.  That must have been above his pay grade.

"A top aide to Barack Obama voiced fears Sunday that Hurricane Sandy could hurt the president's re-election chances by reducing turnout, as the impending storm forced both candidates to cancel campaign stops."

Recall back when the news media tried to make an issue about Mitt and Ann Romney being so rich that they even had a horse which was entered into the Summer Olympics, and how that luxury item is one of pure excess. Well, here’s another way to look at it.

You say the Romney’s are selfish for keeping a horse?  And employing a groom with a family to support.  And employing a trainer with a family to support.  And employing a veterinarian with a family to support.  And employing a horseshoer with a family to support.  And paying for feed that's grown and sold by someone with a family to support and transported in trucks by someone with a family to support, who bought the truck that was manufactured in a factory by people with families to support.  Selfish for having a barn built by construction workers with families to support with materials trucked by drivers with families to support from factories with workers with families to support.

Sounds to me like that one horse has done more to put Americans to work than that horse's ass in the White House.

THE LAST DEBATE…. I wanted blood in the water

And instead, I got to watch a candidate of stature, in complete control, likable and authoritative, smart and cool.  PRESIDENTIAL.

In thinking back over the three presidential debates, I can think of only two areas where Romney let me down.

Every time Obama used the words ‘my budget’, I screamed for Romney to say ‘What budget is that, Mr. President?  The one that went down 97-0 in the Senate?’  I still hope Romney can sneak that in during the next two weeks.

The other thing I was sitting on the edge of my chair for during last night’s foreign policy debate was for Romney to cut Obama off at the knees over the fatal disaster that is/was Benghazi.  Romney let it slide.  I was screaming!  Romney let it slide for two significant reasons.  First, he had proven Obama to be a liar in the last debate over the term ‘act of terror’.  Everyone with a brain who’d seen the news the first two weeks after the attack knew Obama lied.  Period.  There was no question Obama would lie again if Benghazi came up.  Besides, Obama had had a full week to craft – and I do mean CRAFT – another response.  Obama baited Romney four times during the debate, trying to get him to raise Benghazi.  Romney ignored it. I was screaming!  And Obama nearly burst a blood vessel!  He wanted it!  HE CRAVED THE ATTACK about Benghazi so he could turn it on Romney.  I was screaming TAKE HIM OUT ON BENGHAZI!  Romney pulled the proverbial rug out from under this poser, this foreign policy JOKE living in the White House.  And he did it with a smile.

I wanted blood in the water last night …. I’m glad I didn’t get it.

Apparently, Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) passed on a collection of 45 Muslim potential hires to President Obama. The effort to match these 45 individuals with jobs inside the administration was moving slowly and quietly until White House officials recently sped the process up.  CAN YOU SAY 'BINDERS' YOU DAMN HYPOCRITE!!!

From the Denver Post, 3/27/2009 (a month after Obama’s inaugural)

CHICAGO — In a bid to get more Muslim Americans working in the Obama administration, a book with resumes of 45 of the nation's most qualified — Ivy League grads, Fortune 500 executives and public servants, all carefully vetted — has been submitted to the White House.

The effort, driven by community leaders and others, including U.S. Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., was bumped up two weeks because White House officials heard about the venture, said J. Saleh Williams, program coordinator for the Congressional Muslim Staffers Association, who sifted through more than 300 names.

"It was mostly under the radar," Williams said. "We thought it would put (the president) in a precarious position. We didn't know how closely he wanted to appear to be working with the Muslim American community."

Poor Joe..... he kaint heppit.... he has never held a private sector job.

It seems that the Obama/Biden campaign thinks they are on to something with which to hammer Romney..... a comment from Romney in the last debate that he had 'binders of women'.  Anyone who has ever held a JOB knows that Romney was speaking of a 3-ring binder filled with resumes of qualified applicants for a job.  Now granted, it's mostly executive level folks that receive binders, often from head-hunters (another term that neither Biden nor Obama nor their lackeys would know, since none of THEM have worked in the private sector) and from those resumes that executive/manager/owner will select the applicant that best meets his/her hiring requirements.

I posit that the continuation of this pair of liberal idiots to rail about Romney's comment just underscores their total lack of knowledge of how the private sector, and hence AMERICA, functions.  It magnifies the reason the economy is in the tank.  I suggest they stick to the Big Bird argument/attack.

As for Biden, somewhere.... that village that it takes to raise a child..... is missing its idiot.

I'm sure by now everyone knows that Hillary has 'taken one for the team' by accepting responsibility for the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi.  She has not only pulled Obama's ass out of the fire, she saved Biden from being branded a liar.  If she IS, in fact, responsible for this tragedy, she should be fired, prosecuted for incompetence, and sent to prison.

So.... knowing the animus between the Clinton's and the Obama's - what could be in store for Hillary that BILL WOULD AGREE TO.  Consider this.

First of all - the timing of her admission is totally suspect, as it takes this horrible event totally off the table for tonight's debate.  This acceptance of blame would also kill her run for the White House, unless.....

There will be no 'punishment' for Hillary in the Benghazi attacks.  This administration won't hit the girl.  THEY OWE HER NOW, and she has Obama and Biden right where she and Bill want them.

If Obama should win re-election...... (perish the thought!).... I will wager that Joe Biden's 'health' will take a rapid and serious turn for the worse.  And who better to replace him as Vice-President than........ HILLARY!  This is the ONLY, absolutely ONLY condition that Bill would agree to that would make Hillary fall on the sword for Hussein.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

If you do, you are so full of shit your eyes are brown!  PALIN was more qualified to be president than your boy, Obama!

- Blame Republicans for Obama not passing a budget for three years...even though Obama had control of the House and Senate for two of those years.

- Blame the Supreme Court for only doing their job...then lying about blaming them.

- Blame Wall Street for the economic problems...criticize the Dow Jones Average when it is low because it makes you look bad...then praise Wall Street when the Dow Jones goes up because you think it means you are doing something right.

- Blame ATMs for our unemployment issues.

- Blame Americans for the rest of the world being upset with us because we dare to keep our homes heated and we eat a lot of food.

- Blame kids for being fat

- Blame American border agents and the killing of Mexican civilians on the drug cartels to whom you supplied the weapons in ‘Fast and Furious’...then of course Blame Bush again.

- Blame your poor debate performance on....the altitude?

- Blame the riot escalation in Cairo on the same YouTube video

- Blame the video on Freedom of Speech

- Blame the same YouTube video on some unknown film maker...the arresting him for exercising his free speech.

- Blame the riot escalation on Romney and Ryan since everything else has failed

- Blame the fact that Libya is still in the news on Romney

- Blame the two weeks of lies to the American public on faulty information by the CIA...when you actually knew the real details within 24 hours of the attack.

- Blame the riots on anyone except Al Qaeda...even though they were behind it...because an admission would destroy the illusion that you beat the terrorists....and you did not.

- And now....Blame Biden's petulant, disrespectful immaturity during the debate on Paul Ryan?!?!  W‼! T‼! F‼!

For Obama...the Buck stops....anywhere but here.  HELL!  There IS no buck!

Last night's debate was verbal jousting match between an over-the-hill lackey and a young idealist whose day has arrived - a rude, a snake oil salesman whose product is old and rancid and a fresh, young warrior fighting to reclaim the American way of life.  Carry on, Mr. Ryan -  you are indeed our future.

And a liberal alert as well, if I must!

North Carolina is one of the few states where you must vote for the president SEPARATELY from the remainder of the ballot.  In other words - if you simply vote a straight ticket, you have NOT voted in the presidential election. (Same for the judges, which are in theory non-partisan).

Check your ballot carefully before turning it in and make sure you've voted for the presidential candidate of your choice.  This election is far too important NOT to vote.

In probably the best assessment of the first presidential debate, Jeffrey Kuhner goes down the list of Obama's weaknesses and Romney's strengths.  It is both factual and frightening.

"Mr. Obama’s drubbing should come as no surprise. For four years, he has been propped up by his media allies. Without a teleprompter, he looked amateurish and — at times — lost. "

" Mr. Romney exuded confidence and demonstrated a command of the facts. He articulated a pro-growth, tax-cutting agenda. On almost every issue — Obamacare, the Dodd-Frank financial reform and deficit spending — Mr. Romney was right and Mr. Obama wrong."

"In the face of Mr. Obama’s poor performance, liberals are blaming the debate’s moderator, Public Broadcast Service host Jim Lehrer....The problem is not the moderator, the format or the altitude. It’s the president, especially his disastrous socialist policies. He lost because he has no record to run on."

"Mr. Obama will push America off the fiscal cliff. We are heading toward Greece or Spain — a European-style basket case. Mr. Obama’s legacy is one of economic ruin and looming national bankruptcy."

This entire article is a concise explanation of Obama's complete failure as president - an empty suit propped up by the mainstream media. I couldn't have said it better myself!

"In Federalist Number 78, Alexander Hamilton declared that ‘the judiciary is beyond comparison the weakest of the three departments of power’ established by the Constitution.  The school of thought was the justices must be guided by their interpretation of the language of the Constitution and the intent of its framers, and this was the case for nearly a century.  Books can be (and have been) written about how far the courts have strayed from the ‘intent of the framers’ of the Constitution.

There have been a total of 112 justices in the Supreme Court SINCE THE COURT FIRST CONVENED IN FEBRUARY, 1790.  Of those, 17 have been Chief Justices, and 95 have been Associate Justices.  During each session, the high court will consider and rule on 60-75 oral arguments and 80-100 non-oral cases.

APPOINTMENTS ARE FOR LIFE.  THE AVERAGE NUMBER OF YEARS A JUSTICE SERVES IS 16 YEARS.  The longest serving Chief Justice was Chief Justice John Marshall who served for 34 years, 5 months and 11 days from 1801 to 1835.  The shortest serving Chief Justice was John Rutledge who was appointed under a temporary commission because the Senate was in recess. He served for 5 months and 14 days before the Senate reconvened and rejected his nomination.  The longest serving Justice was William O. Douglas who served for 36 years, 7 months, and 8 days from 1939 to 1975.

For all that Barack Obama has done to ‘change’ the United States of America, the vast majority of it can be undone down the road.  SCOTUS , on the other hand, is the final authority on legislation passed by Congress and signed into law by the President.  Their decisions are based on how they ‘see’ the Constitution and their decisions can and do have an impact on this nation for years and years.

Glued to the TV and in kidney lock by 10:30, this debate was more than I could have imagined for my side.  The only negatives I saw were.....

Romney, while doing yeoman’s work in slamming Obama last night, left three clubs in his arsenal I would have preferred he use.

First, when Obama said GM was roaring back, Romney should have said:  I would say to ask the employees of the 800+ dealerships that you closed if they thought GM was roaring back.

Secondly, when Obama mentioned the word ‘budget’, Romney should have been on that like white on rice, asking why he had not signed a budget in his entire presidency.

But to me, the biggest hammer he had but didn’t use was after Obama made his opening statement about it’s not where we’ve been but where we’re going.  Romney could have ended the debate in the first five minutes by asking Obama:  Why do you need more time?  The first two years of your term YOU HAD BOTH HOUSES OF CONGRESS – YOU COULD HAVE DONE ANYTHING!  Romney came close when he said Obama used his capital to pass healthcare rather than concentrating on jobs.

All in all……. I’m one happy camper today! (And it doesn't hurt my mood that the liberals' hair is on fire.)

We don't need more taxes - we need more TAXPAYERS!

Wednesday, October 3, 2012

Well, folks…..tonight it is ‘game on’ in our political world.  That’s right …..the first Presidential candidate debate.  And there is a lot at stake here, and forgive me if I wax dramatic.  All of the House of Representatives are up for grabs, a third of the Senate, and the Presidency.

And make no mistake about this.  This is the most important election in our lifetime.

This election is not about the war, because we have lost that one voluntarily (funny……when we first dropped in on Afghanistan the media kept trying to make that war another Vietnam… that it IS a Vietnam….shhhhhhh).  This election is not about the economy though it is a shambles from which we are likely to not recover.  This election is not about abortion, capital punishment, Obamacare, the debt, the deficit.  It is not about the entitlement mentality, because that will never be reversed.  It is not about illegal immigration, it is not about the train wreck of our public education system, it is not about crime. It is not about any of those things.

It is about us.

It is about whether we are a people that want what I listed above.  Do we want to consciously relegate ourselves, as a nation, to a second rate world power?  I mean, we CAN…..we are doing it, but as a people, do we want that?  Do we want to be a people that just accept that we are going to be buried in debt, forever?  Because that is what we are accepting right now.  Are we willing to be a people, a nation, in which almost 50% of us pay no federal income tax, live off of the other 50%?  A nation in which the solution to that imbalance is to merely take more from that 50% that ‘have’?  That’s the nation we are now.  Do we want to be a people under Obamacare…..a system that ensures that, no matter how hard you work in life, your healthcare will be no better than that of the person that doesn’t work at all?  Do we want to be a people, a nation with no borders, no standards of who can be one of us?  I mean, I don’t want to sound arrogant or “uppity”…..but this is the 21st century, and I personally believe that if you want to come here, you should be a refugee or bring something to the party.  I detest abortion……I’ll be honest, I detest the idea but I am not going to make a decision for our nation based on that.

Do we get it?  Am I making my point?  This election is not about any single item, it SHOULD be about one single item….We the People.  Do We want to be a socialist nation?

Many of our people do.  I know people that acknowledge that Obama, Reid and Pelosi, et al, are destroying the fiber of this nation, yet they fully intend on voting for him/ them, again.  And their particular excuses (and that’s what they are….they are not reasons) vary from not being able to vote for a Mormon to conservatives being too far right of center…a point on the dial they cannot see from their precipice on the left.

This election is a referendum on the founding fathers and the genius of their creation….the Constitution.  Do we accept it as valid, or do we reject it outright.  A vote for Obama is a vote to simply relegate the Constitution to the Smithsonian.

This election is about the People we will be.
