This is one of the most insightful and frightening articles I have EVER read on the state of blacks in America.  The author is a criminal public defender - a liberal man trying to be what HE believes is his 'liberal' duty.  This man walks the walk... and exposes many of the problems we face as a nation.
As a young lawyer, I believed the official story that blacks are law abiding, intelligent, family-oriented people, but are so poor they must turn to crime to survive. Actual black behavior was a shock to me.
The black men who become my clients also do not work. They get social security disability payments for a mental defect or for a vague and invisible physical ailment. They do not pay for anything: not for housing (Grandma lives on welfare and he lives with her), not for food (Grandma and the baby-momma share with him), and not for child support. When I learn that my 19-year-old defendant does not work or go to school, I ask, “What do you do all day?” He smiles. “You know, just chill.” These men live in a culture with no expectations, no demands, and no shame.

This family lives about a mile from where I lived in Raleigh.... and they ALWAYS have the Christmas spirit.  Our December 23 ritual was dinner at Ruth's Chris and then a ride down the road on the way home... we would often sit in traffic on Penny Road for 30-45 minutes just to turn and RIDE past this house.  It was on a dead-end road so we got to loop around and pass by again.  FYI - that is a FULL SIZE FIRE TRUCK to the left of the house!  Every year he added something new, so I can't imagine what it looks like now!  This video is from 2008!

This is a timeless narration.... and very appropriate during this sad time in our nation.... think about these men and women as you sit safely down to your Christmas dinner.... and be thankful that, like our military, these folks have our backs.....

May God bless you and keep you safe....

You have a family situation that is so unstable, 'Junior' doesn't even know where to send a Father's Day card. (Thank you LBJ for the dissolution of the family)

There's no guidance, rules or discipline in the home.   Junior gets dumped into the education system where trying to do well is scorned by his peers and when he fails,  he is socially promoted because the overwhelmed school district can't deal with the undisciplined punk.

Junior's major formative influences are 'gangsta' rap videos, videos of street fights, and  a corresponding peer group of thug wannabes.

At age 18, Junior is turned loose on society carrying a bad attitude, a broken compass and zero respect for authority.  Not surprising to anyone, Junior gets himself in big trouble with the law and meets dire consequences.

Then, the mayor, the governor, or even the POTUS proclaims that the POLICE need more sensitivity training and understanding?

I’m sorry…… what was that again?  THE POLICE ARE THE PROBLEM?

The Night Before Christmas
Author: Anonymous
[And edited by me]

T'was the night before Christmas, and he slept on the ground,
In a simply made shelter of canvas all round.

I came through the tent flap, with presents to give,
And to see just who in this shelter did live.

As I looked all about, a strange sight I did see,
No tinsel, no presents, not even a tree.

No stocking was hung, just boots filled with sand,
And pins held up photos of far distant lands.

A small box held medals and awards of all kinds,
A sobering thought then entered my mind.

This place was different, it was dark and dreary,
I'd found the tent of a soldier, once I could see clearly.

The young man lay sleeping, his weapon nearby,
Ready to fight, and even to die.

His face was so gentle, his 'home' all in order,
I stood and just looked at this American soldier.

Was this the hero of whom I'd just read?
Curled up on a poncho, the floor for a bed?

I realized the families that I saw this night,
Owed their lives to our soldiers, who were willing to fight.

Soon round the world, the children would play,
And grownups would celebrate a bright Christmas Day.

They all enjoyed freedom, each month of the year,
Because of the soldiers, like the one laying here.

I couldn't help wonder, how many were alone,
On a cold Christmas Eve, in a land far from home.

The very thought brought a tear to my eye,
I dropped to my knees and started to cry.

The soldier awakened, and I heard a rough voice,
'Santa, don't cry. This life is my choice.

I fight for freedom, I don't ask for more.
My life is my God, my country, my corps.'

The soldier rolled over, and fell back asleep,
I couldn't control it, continued to weep.

I kept watch for hours, so silent and still,
And we both shivered from the cold night's chill.

I didn't want to leave, on that cold, dark night,
This guardian of honor, so willing to fight.

Then the soldier rolled over, with a voice, soft and pure,
Whispered, 'Carry on Santa, It's Christmas Day, all is secure.'

One look at my watch, and I knew he was right,

'Merry Christmas my friend, and to all a good night.'

About six years ago, a techie friend suggested I get Glary Utilities - a free program that was basically a registry cleaner and a temporary file cleaner.... so I did.  Ran it once or twice a week and it would find an error here and a problem there... I really couldn't see much effect on how my computer worked but it didn't hurt anything.  This past year, for some unknown reason, I upgraded to the PRO version.... about $20 I think, and it MAY be for three computers....this weekend it paid for itself 50 times over.

My computer had been dragging.... getting slower and slower.... I'm out in the country and my net beams from an abandoned fire tower across the water to a receiver mounted on the side of the house.  I can see the fire tower so the signal doesn't have far to shoot.  There are about 5 families that are permanent residents on this system but when all the weekenders are down with iPads and laptops, the bandwidth (are you impressed I know that word?!  LOL) has to be shared.  After Thanksgiving, my computer didn't speed back up.... and on Thursday morning, I couldn't get ANYTHING to open.... not the internet, not my Excel program, not even Skype.

Panic!  A VIRUS!  Tried to run Bitdefender - it wouldn't open.  Tried to run Malwarebytes.... wouldn't open.  All the stuff I tried to open said 'Not Responding' and I couldn't even X them closed.  Couldn't close them with Task Manager because - IT WOULDN'T OPEN!  Rebooted 4-5 times, same results, and the last time I got the error message from hell - my hard disk was damaged.... The only program I'd not tried was Glary - because I didn't think I had a registry problem.... but I clicked on it and after about 10 minutes, IT OPENED!  I looked at my options and all were checked except 'disk repair'... I unclicked everything and clicked disk repair on and hit 'scan' AND IT STARTED RUNNING....  I watched as it analyzed files.... PAINFULLY SLOWLY.... and after a few minutes it rebooted my computer.  I logged back in and restarted Glary.... and it started analyzing files again.  Bear in mind - I had no idea what I was doing but at least I could see that something was happening.

I started keeping track of the number of files it was analyzing and each time I restarted the program, it would analyze a few MORE files.  I probably restarted Glary 20 times in the course of the weekend, and each time the file count increased - so something was happening.  In the mean time, I'm reading Consumer Reports on computers, and talking to people about what to buy.

This morning, the log-on screen was up so I signed in and opened Glary AGAIN.  Then I sat down at my antique Dell laptop I bought just after the turn of the century, went to Amazon, and bought a new Dell - $1000 I really hadn't planned to spend this month.

Breathed a deep sigh, and looked at my pitiful HP, and saw what looked like an old DOS screen..... black with pixel letters - files flying by too fast to read.... This lasted several minutes.  OH DEAR!  Then the computer closed down.

Rebooted..... and the log-on came up.  I put in my password and hit return.... OMG - in an instant, my desktop was showing.... I clicked my Chrome button and bam-bam-bam-bam.... my home pate, blogger page, twitter page, email, and facebook page all opened!!!  Clicked on Excel - boom!  It opened!  Skype - whooooosh!  OPENED! Sent a message on Skype - IT WORKED!  Opened my blogger page - IT WORKED!  Excel - WORKED!

JUST WOW!  I dashed back to my antique Dell, pulled up Amazon - and cancelled the order for the new computer!

I'm typing THIS on the 'GLARY REPAIRED' machine, and so far, so good!  I'm sure I lost SOMETHING..... but I have Carbonite backup, so I'm not concerned.

I don't know what Glary did..... I just know that without their 'disk repair' feature, I'd be out $1000.... MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ME - FROM GLARY UTILITIES PRO!!!!  Best $20 I ever spent!
Try the free version.... but buy the PRO version....

John Kerry sooooooo wants to be president of the United States ........... so badly that he kissed Obama's scrawny butt and got appointed Secretary of State.  The master plan was to make Hillary look bad in the same job.... a fairly LOW bar, I'm thinking!

OOPS!  Seems he 'reported for duty' and no one noticed - except our allies - none of whom trust us any more!  It's hard to imagine ANYONE who could make Hillary seem appealing..... but Kerry gets that nod!

Kerry and his 'dear friend' Assad...............
