THE SCANDAL WITH NO LEGS…. YET

Back in March, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius went, hat in hand, to health industry officials, asking them to make large
financial donations to help with the effort to implement President Obama’s
landmark healthcare law, two people familiar with the outreach said.
Her unusual fundraising push comes after Congress repeatedly
rejected the Obama administration’s requests for additional funds to set up the
Affordable Care Act, leaving HHS to implement the president’s signature
legislative accomplishment on what officials have described as a shoestring
budget.
Over the past three months, Sebelius has made multiple phone
calls to health industry executives, community organizations and church
groups and asked that they contribute whatever they can to nonprofit groups that
are working to enroll uninsured Americans and increase awareness of the law,
according to an HHS official and an industry person familiar with the
secretary’s activities. Both spoke on
the condition of anonymity to talk openly about private discussions.
An HHS spokesperson said Sebelius was within the bounds of
her authority in asking for help.

But Republicans charged that Sebelius’s outreach was
improper because it pressured private companies and other groups to support the
Affordable Care Act.
Federal regulations do not allow department officials to
fundraise in their professional capacity.
They do, however, allow Cabinet members to solicit donations as private
citizens “if you do not solicit funds from a subordinate or from someone who has
or seeks business with the Department, and you do not use your official
title,” according to Justice Department regulations.

I’d
like for her to stop. One issue is if she’s raising money from the
people she regulates. [STRONG-ARMING THEM?
NAWWWWWW] But I’m more concerned
about her using private funding and private organizations to do what Congress
has refused to do. I and other members
of congress are going to ask GAO to look into the extent she’s coordinating
with Enroll America or other organizations.

Senior Republican senators … asked the Health and Human
Services’ inspector general to investigate Secretary Kathleen Sebelius’
fundraising drive to promote the new health care law — a practice ethics specialists have said is anything from a legal
stretch to a shakedown for cash.
HHS officials have confirmed that since March, Mrs. Sebelius
directly solicited donations from tax preparation giant H&R Block and the
Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, a nonprofit that supports anti-obesity and
other health outreach campaigns. H&R
Block has yet to respond to the appeal, but the foundation has donated a total
of $14 million to Enroll America, although it hasn’t said how much of that was
in response to Mrs. Sebelius’ appeals.
This HHS impropriety all seems small potatoes compared with
the IRS and Benghazi scandals – and they
ARE scandals of the first order…. and the Justice
Department’s violation of our First Amendment rights by violating freedom
of the press and seizing communication records of a reporter under the guise
that he ‘may be aiding and abetting national security leaks’. Holder lied to Congress on this one. He signed off on the paperwork and even
shopped for a judge to sign a trumped up subpoena to go after Fox’s James
Rosen. THIS one is the press’s ox being
gored and so far, they are not taking it lightly. The HHS problem is getting cover from the
other three scandals. Let’s hope it
doesn’t get swept completely under the rug. It's unethical and illegal for

WAS OBAMA STONED THE NIGHT BENGHAZI BURNED?
I’ll be the first to admit that I have a conspiracy gene. I’ll also be the first to admit that I think Barack
Obama is the worst president in the history of the world. His incompetence glows in the dark. Therefore…..
When I got this in an email saying Obama might have been wasted on cocaine that fateful night of 9/11, I smacked my forehead and said ‘THAT’S
GOT TO BE IT!’ (The only other reason
would be he’s at the Man’s World in Chicago with Rahm, and I don’t think he
slipped away that night.)
I’ll also be the first to tell anyone that I’ve never been
part of the drug culture, never smelled pot, and my drug of choice is Riesling. But here’s what someone far better placed to
expound on this than I has postulated…. What do YOU think? Sadly…..beyond sadly, this makes complete sense.
While our consulate in Benghazi was attacked during the night of September 11 of last year, our fearless leader was allegedly hiding away somewhere getting “high as a kite” on cocaine. This is the speculation of Kevin DuJan, a self-described “gay conservative political analyst” writing for a publication called HillBuzz. DuJan states that his claim, which he appears to make based on knowledge and experience of drug addicts, explains the president being missing for most of the evening during the attack on Benghazi.
DuJan explains his theory, writing, “If you’ve ever known anyone who is a drug addict, you’d see it’s obvious that Barack Obama was high on cocaine the night of Benghazi; it is the only logical explanation for his disappearance and the White House’s refusal to comment on what he was doing at the time. Since this was a night of great crisis for our country, the only logical reason that the White House won’t explain where the president was is if this man was high as a kite on illegal narcotics at the time.”
DuJan also suggests the president sought out gay entertainment when he left the next day for Las Vegas, writing that Obama was, “jetting off to fabulous Las Vegas for a fun-and-games fundraiser event he had scheduled there (where, it also should be noted, not only Chippendales but also Thunder From Down Under male revues are regularly held…which certainly establishes the appeal of heading to Las Vegas instead of managing a national crisis back in Washington for this particular president).

Engelbrecht—a nice woman, a citizen, an American. She and her husband live in
Richmond, Texas. They have a small manufacturing business. In the past few
years she became interested in public policy and founded two groups, King
Street Patriots, and True the Vote.
In July 2010 she sent
applications to the IRS for tax-exempt status. What followed was not the
harassment, intrusiveness and delay we're now used to hearing of. The US
government came down on her with full force.

In
December 2010 the FBI came to ask about a person who'd attended a King Street
Patriots function.
·
In January
2011 the FBI had more questions.
·
The same
month the IRS audited her business tax returns.
·
In May
2011 the FBI called again for a general inquiry about King Street Patriots.
·
In June
2011 Engelbrecht's personal tax returns were audited and the FBI called again.
·
In October
2011 a round of questions on True the Vote.
·
In
November 2011 another call from the FBI.
·
The next
month, more questions from the FBI.
·
In
February 2012 a third round of IRS questions on True the Vote.
·
In
February 2012 a first round of questions on King Street Patriots.
·
The same
month the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms did an unscheduled audit of
her business. (It had a license to make firearms but didn't make them.)
·
In July
2012 the Occupational Safety and Health Administration did an unscheduled
audit.
·
In
November 2012 more IRS questions on True the Vote.
·
In March
2013, more questions.
·
In April
2013 a second ATF audit.
All this because she requested tax-exempt status for a local
conservative group and for one that registers voters and tries to get dead
people off the rolls.
This week Ms. Engelbrecht, who still hasn't received her
exemptions, sued the IRS.
Yesterday, Lois Lerner, IRS director of Exempt Organizations
was placed on administrative leave WITH FULL PAY after she reportedly refused to resign‼! Can you imagine this happening in the private
sector? An employee REFUSING to
resign??? A superior would have stood
beside her desk while she cleaned it out, and then shown her the door! REFUSED TO RESIGN??? WTF!
Political harassment of Conservatives by the federal
government? YOU BET YOUR SWEET ASS IT
WAS, and it still is.
In contrast, consider the following action by Lerner’s
division of the IRS. (And I’ve posted
this before, so my apologies to my regular readers.)

There is now conclusive evidence that exposes Lois Lerner –
the IRS senior manager and Director of Exempt Organizations who exercised her
fifth amendment rights in front of the House Oversight Committee – as an
accessory to terror funding. Charges against Lerner could amount to criminal
negligence for not checking into the bonafides of the Barack H. Obama
Foundation (BHOF) before granting such expeditious, retroactive, and possibly
illegal tax-exempt status.

Malik H. Obama – as a senior leader in terror organizations that supply funding
and comfort to Al Qaeda. Malik Obama is also a close associate of Omar

The Obama administration says this IRS abuse was done by a
couple of rogue agents in Cleveland. Any
American who seriously believes this has to have an IQ of room
temperature. Over 500 ORGANIZATIONS, and
countless Americans, were denied a voice prior to the 2012 election because the
IRS targeted them for ‘special treatment’ – which meant illegal, extensive,
intrusive and absurd questionnaires requesting details about who, what, when,
where and why have you started your group.
Some applicants were even asked for their Facebook Friends, who their
donors and donors’ relatives were, and even directed to reveal ‘WHAT DO YOU
PRAY ABOUT?’ This was NO SMALL
ILLEGALITY! This is abuse of power –
pure and simple. If Congress has to
question every employee of the IRS, they need to get to the bottom of this
abuse, and people need to go to jail.
I see nothing political here – this affects EVERY SINGLE
AMERICAN…. More so because the same woman who was in charge of the ‘Tax Exempt
Organizations department of the IRS ….. is now heading up the newly created
department of the IRS that will oversee Obamacare compliance. THAT should scare the shit out of everyone.

The Department of
Justice tapped conversations – work, home, and cell – of hundreds
of Associated Press reporters, and gathered conversations supposedly going back
months – in order to prevent a ‘terror attack’. [As an aside here – don’t you find it curious
that the DoJ is investigating a mythical ‘terror plot’, yet this administration
can’t recognize a ‘terror attack’ when it’s happening in real time?] And to top it all off – HOLDER SAYS HE WAS
UNAWARE OF THE PHONE TAPS! Recall that
he was also UNAWARE OF FAST & FURIOUS!
How can anyone so stupid keep that job through two Obama
administrations? Oh W A I T ‼!
Holder knows where the birth certificate is buried. Nevermind!
Flatly
denying any prior knowledge to the subpoenas and who had issued them, he [Holder]
stated [before Congress] that he was 99 per cent sure that deputy attorney
general James Cole had issued them.
The
Justice Departments claims that the records were seized as part of an
investigation into leaked data on a CIA operation in Yemen to stop an airliner
bombing plot on the anniversary of the death of Osama Bin Laden.
Holder
stressed that the leak was very serious and had put the safety of the American
people at risk and as such the Justice Department’s action was justified.
“I’ve been a prosecutor since 1976, and I have to say that this is
among, if not the most serious – it’s in the top two or three – most serious
leaks that I’ve ever seen,” Holder added. “It put the American people at risk.

White House has also claimed ignorance, stating that it had no knowledge of
“any attempt by the Justice Department to seek phone records of the AP.”
[Of course it did – right up until
the moment the White House planned to announce that the Barack the Magnificent
had ‘foiled a terror plot’.
Unfortunately, the AP broke the scoop the day before Barack could – a scoop
they had been sitting on for 5 days at the behest of Barack. Just damn.]
WAIT! WAIT!
Fast-forward
to today (5/16/2013). Was the public ever actually at risk? Why, no, says The
Washington Post...In fact, the AP held the story for days so as not to
jeopardize U.S. counterterror ops, and only went ahead and published after the CIA
assured them that there was no longer a risk. Nothing was compromised. Maybe
Holder simply meant that the leak could have put the public at risk had the AP
published right away…
For
five days, reporters at the Associated Press had been sitting on a big scoop
about a foiled al-Qaeda plot at the request of CIA officials. Then, in a
hastily scheduled Monday morning meeting, the journalists were asked by agency
officials to hold off on publishing the story for just one more day.
The
CIA officials, who had initially cited national security concerns in an attempt
to delay publication, no longer had those worries, according to individuals
familiar with the exchange. Instead, the
Obama administration was planning to announce the successful counterterrorism
operation that Tuesday…

Air Station Sigonella in Sicily, Italy the night of the attack but did not
deploy to Benghazi. U.S. officials say the team did not arrive at Sigonella
until after the attack was over.
WHERE WAS THE HEAD OF THE CIA THAT NIGHT? Anyone notice that David Petraeus’ name is
never mentioned? One source said he was
at a private showing of ‘ARGO’ that night – basically out of the loop, perhaps
with his mistress/biographer. If so –

advocacy," as one report worded it, in her critical reporting of Benghazi.
The head of ABC News, Ben Sherwood, has a sister who works
for the Obama White House as a special assistant, Elizabeth Sherwood-Randall.
The CNN deputy bureau chief, Virginia Moseley, is married to
Hillary Clinton's former aide at the State Department, Tom Nides, who is also a
former Fannie Mae executive.
Carney, Obama's press secretary, is the husband of
Claire Shipman, the senior national correspondent for ABC's "Good Morning
America."

In his words (Ret.) Admiral James Lyons says that the attack on Benghazi was a bungled kidnapping attempt to be perpetrated upon Ambassador Stevens. This was to appear to be a hostage exchange for a terrorist prisoner who was to be released in trade for a supposedly captured US ambassador. The trade would have been for Omar Abdel Rahman an international prisoner, known as the Blind Sheikh.
This apparent abduction by terrorists of our ambassador and then negotiated trade for the Blind Sheikh would have been the “October Surprise” that would have elevated President Obama’s flagging popularity and boosted his approval ratings for a re-election. A dramatic prisoner exchange that saved our ambassador’s life.
However, something went horribly wrong. A cunning and illegal bit of treachery by the Obama White House turned into something entirely different. Obama’s October surprise turned into a carnage orchestrated by the White House itself as the President, Leon Panetta, and CIA Director, David Petraeus watched via a UAV real-time feed as a 7 hour attack on the Benghazi Embassy raged. Reportedly, stand down orders were given several times to different units within striking distance.
With what should have been only a staged kidnapping of Ambassador J. Christian Stevens, instead, Navy Seals Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty refused a stand down order and began doing their job of protecting the ambassador using force. Immediately the well-trained Seals began inflicting heavy casualties upon the terrorists who thought they were merely in a cake walk to abduct Ambassador Stevens without mishap. As a result of the plan going awry, a massive attack arose from the anger of the terrorists who felt they had been betrayed by President Obama. In the aftermath of the battle which saw Navy Seal Glen Doherty was killed after the embassy had been overrun along with the ambassador’s staff. Ambassador Steven’s whose body showed up 5 hours later at a Benghazi hospital supposedly overcome by smoke as the initial press reports indicated was, in fact, raped, tortured, and dragged around Benghazi in retaliation for the botched Obama White House plan.

THE THRILL IS GONE....
Chris Matthews, the MSNBC host who in 2008 felt a
"thrill going up my leg" after hearing Obama speak has grown
disenchanted. Wednesday's episode of
Hardball saw Matthews delivering a rare, unforgiving grilling of the president
as severe as anything that might appear on Fox News.
"What part of the presidency does Obama like? He doesn't like dealing with other politicians -- that means his own cabinet, that means members of the congress, either party. He doesn't particularly like the press.... He likes to write the speeches, likes to rewrite what Favreau and the others wrote for the first draft," Matthews said.

TEA PARTY: THE TALIBAN WING OF AMERICAN POLITICS
Julian Bond, Chairman Emeritus of the NAACP, calls the Tea Party the 'TALIBAN WING OF AMERICAN POLITICS' (near the end of this video).
And clearly the interviewer from MSNBC is a clueless buttboy of the administration as he spoon feeds Bond with featherlight questions.
“… it’s only right and just that the federal government and
the IRS target tea party groups. Tea party groups are, after all, 'admittedly racist' .... and the 'Taliban wing of American politics," Mr. Bond said.
Bond is not a newcomer to vile remarks. Speaking at Fayetteville State University
(Fayetteville, NC) in 2006, he compared the Republican Party with the Nazis in Germany. "The Republican
Party would have the American flag and the swastika flying side by side,"

THE TIP OF OBAMA’S IRS SCANDAL ICEBERG - UPDATED 5/29/2013
Austan Goolsbee,
a University of Chicago economics professor, served as the Chairman of the
Council of Economic Advisers from September, 2010 and was the youngest member of the cabinet of
President Barack Obama until his resignation in June, 2011. He advised Obama during his 2004 Senate race
and was senior economic policy adviser during the 2008 presidential campaign
and served on the three-member economic council since the start of Obama’s
first administration.
Goolsbee is also omniscient.
During an August 27, 2010, press briefing, he let slip that he knew that
Koch Industries, a multibillion-dollar energy business run by the libertarian
Koch brothers, had paid no income taxes.
“[W]e have a series of entities that do not pay corporate income tax,
some of which are really giant firms. You know, Koch Industries is a
multibillion-dollar business,” Mr. Goolsbee told reporters during an on-the-
record background briefing on corporate taxes.
Could it be
Mr. Goolsbee got the inside scoop from someone at the IRS?

This is not
a new scandal – just one the left has run through the Scandal Condom the MSM
uses to keep anything from touching Obama.

2010, the liberal website ‘MotherJones’ published a story entitled:

get his information about the Koch brother’s finances? Reading from MotherJones:
The issue: Did White House economic
aide Austan Goolsbee nefariously gain access to the confidential tax records of
Koch Industries, a megafirm privately owned by the billionaire Koch brothers,
who have funded much anti-Obama political activity? The short answer: Probably
not. But that hasn't stopped the scandalmakers, while the White House response
has provided them running room.
Seems to me
it’s time to drag this THREE-YEAR-OLD pearl out of the dusty drawer it’s been
neatly tucked away in and revisit it.
Specifically, what was Goolsbee’s source? Some low-level IRS flunky in Cleveland? I think not.
The IRS ‘apology’
three days ago – for inappropriately flagging conservative political groups for
additional reviews and ‘special handling’ is an attempt to 1) do a bad news ‘dump’
on a Friday, in hopes the story wouldn’t gain legs over the Mother’s Day
weekend, and 2) an attempt to take the wind out of a report by the Inspector
General’s office into these charges that’s due to be released within days.
On Friday, the IRS apologized for
scrutinizing the tax-exempt status of groups with conservative titles such as
"Tea Party" or "Patriot" in their applications. Republicans have challenged the tax
agency's claim that the practice was initiated by low-level workers.
But according to a draft of a
watchdog's report obtained Saturday by The Associated Press that seemingly
contradicts public statements by the IRS commissioner, senior IRS officials
knew agents were targeting tea party groups as early as 2011.
A partial draft report from the
Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration -- obtained by NBC News --
shows that top officials knew about the
targeting nearly a year before then-IRS Commissioner Douglas H. Shulman, who
was appointed by President George W. Bush, testified to Congress in March 2012
that no singling out of conservative groups ever occurred.

2012: Holder became the first sitting member of the
Cabinet of the United States to be held in criminal contempt of Congress by the
House of Representatives for refusing to disclose internal Justice Department
documents in response to a subpoena. The vote was 255-67 in favor, with 17
Democrats voting yes and a large number of Democrats walking off the floor in
protest and refusing to vote. A civil contempt measure was also voted on and
passed, 258-95. The civil contempt vote allows the House Committee on Oversight
and Government Reform to go to court with a civil lawsuit to look into the US
Justice Department's refusal to turn over some of the subpoenaed documents and
to test Obama's assertion of executive privilege. Holder dismissed the votes as "the regrettable culmination of what
became a misguided — and politically motivated — investigation during an
election year," and the White House called it "political theater
rather than legitimate congressional oversight."
On September 19, the
Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz publicly released a
471-page report detailing the results of the Justice Department's own internal
investigations. [That’s a lotta pages for an agency investigating itself – Holder
is still the AG – surprise!]
But rest assured, this is likely still ‘under investigation’.
April, 2012: The
investigation into the prostitution scandal involving Secret Service personnel
in Cartagena, Colombia, has broadened to include the White House Communications
Agency…White House press secretary Jay Carney declined to discuss the potential
involvement of WHCA personnel in the prostitution scandal at a press briefing
Monday afternoon, deferring questions to the Defense Department, which is
conducting a separate investigation.

November, 2012: Remember the investigation into the former
head of the CIA, David Petraeus - the investigation that was kept secret until after the election…
The FBI launched a full investigation. And now one of the most decorated military leaders in our history has been removed as the head of the CIA. Essentially he has been silenced just days before he was scheduled to testify before congressional investigators…And speaking of the White House, well, they are still peddling the farfetched story that the president was not informed about the Petraeus affair until after Election Day.
Missed the outcome of this one in the MSM…. Wonder if
Petraeus will have comments on Benghazi now… or if HE is also being threatened
by still being ‘under investigation.’

conservative organizations for ‘special treatment’ he replied: My
understanding is this matter is under investigation by the IG at the IRS. The
IRS, as you know, is an independent enforcement agency with only two political
appointees. The fact of the matter is what we know about this is of concern,
and we certainly find the actions taken, as reported, to be inappropriate. And
we would fully expect the investigation to be thorough and for corrections to
be made in a case like this. And I believe the IRS has addressed that and has
taken some action, and there is an
investigation ongoing.

One of the mysteries
in the Benghazi scandal has been the
role of David Petraeus, who was then the Director of the CIA but was forced to
resign in a personal scandal shortly thereafter. While the White House and State Department
tried to cobble together talking points to explain away the terrorist attack
that took four American lives, what did Petraeus do? According
to new information reported for the first time by Jonathan Karl on ABC News’
This Week earlier this morning, Petraeus rejected the final version as
“useless” — and then threw the issue to the White House… We already knew that
Petraeus was stunned by the revisions; now we know he rejected them
personally. ”I would just as soon not
use them, but it’s their [the White House] call.” That would contradict the meme over the last
few days that this was an intramural fight between State and CIA with the White
House just serving as bystanders.
The
CIA Director called the “demonstration” talking points useless the day before
Susan Rice went on five Sunday talk shows, but the White House apparently
disagreed. They, evidently, found the false narrative very useful.
“I’d call it a
cover-up,” McCain said this morning on “This Week.” “I would call it a cover-up
[of Benghazi] in the extent that
there was willful removal of information which was obvious.” …
McCain [in the same article] also singled
out former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who he suggested would have been
aware of the State Department’s emails requesting changes to the talking
points.

today [along with British P.M. David Cameron]said of the Benghazi investigation, AGAIN that it was 1) a partisan witch hunt for
political gain and 2) (and I quote)“there is no there there” regarding the
talking points and who changed them (Obama reiterated that it was the CIA and
NOT his White House… time for Petraeus to man up and step forward and clear this up.
