The city of Charlotte launched an online application process in June for groups and individuals wanting to stage protests during the Democratic National Convention.
The city conducted a lottery on July 2 to assign times for the three days of the DNC, from Sept. 4-6, for the use of two designated staging areas for DNC protesters: a parade route and a speakers' platform.
As an aside....Rep. Larry Kissell (D, NC-8) has said he will miss the convention this year. He plans to NOT endorse Obama AND he voted to hold Holder in contempt. Three cheers for a genuine BLUE-DOG CONSERVATIVE DEMOCRAT...... whose district includes Charlotte, and who lives about a mile from the convention site. BWAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA
Was starting to think you done got blowed away by the 'Derecho'
