MY REPUBLICAN PARTY

It’s been a busy holiday for me, so far…. lots of company, lots of cooking, barely any time at all to wish friends Merry Christmas, and mostly not at all interested in following the news during this slow news season.  Had a little time today to look around the news world and I came across this headline:

George Will: Stopping Trump More Important Than Stopping Hillary

Certainly conservatives consider it crucial to deny the Democratic Party a third consecutive term controlling the executive branch. Extending from eight to 12 years its use of unbridled executive power would further emancipate the administrative state from control by either a withering legislative branch or a supine judiciary. But first things first. Conservatives’ highest priority now must be to prevent Trump from winning the Republican nomination in this, the GOP’s third epochal intraparty struggle in 104 years.

Now…. I DO watch Fox News Sunday as I’m dressing for church, and I DO know that George Will despises the very IDEA of Donald Trump high on the food chain of politics.  I watched Mr. Will when he was the only conservative on anything to do with the ABC network and seldom disagreed with him.  But this headline made me stop in my tracks.

First of all…..nothing….NOTHING is more important that keeping 1 – Hillary Clinton and 2 – ANY other DEMOCRAT out of the White House! 

Secondly - George will is an elitist, pompous, prick!  

He’s neither a conservative nor a patriot, nor a Republican, and quite possibly he’s in need of a brain scan.  His remark flies in the face of every American like me, who is terrified of what has become of this country under Barack Obama…. and who knows that a Hillary win merely means more years Obama in pantsuits.

In the same vein, I heard a talking head say today that a Trump candidacy would mean the end of the Republican party (and this wasn’t the first time I’ve heard such a dire prediction from pretty little airheads in front of a microphone who probably couldn’t tell you three things EITHER major political party stands for if their next paycheck depended on it.)

My reply to Mr. Will and his fellow paid pontificators is... SO ****ING WHAT if TRUMP means the end of MY Republican Party.

The Republican Party of today is NO LONGER my Republican Party!  I hope this next year WILL BE THE END OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY I AM A MEMBER OF!

MY Republican Party used to believe in small government, but they continually vote to give Washington more power and the ‘people’ who put them there less power.

MY Republican Party used to believe in the Constitution, which was written to CONTROL government – not give government more control over the people.

MY Republican Party used to believe in free enterprise but this party is content to permit Obama to regulate capitalism ‘out of business.’

MY Republican Party used to believe in the rule of law but today’s Republican Party has no interest in securing the borders of this country because apparently the word from the ‘Chambers of Commerce’ is 'we' need more illegal workers, so today’s Republicans in Congress pay lip service to the electorate and turn a blind eye to all the illegals flooding into America.

MY Republican Party used to believe in lower taxes and lowering government spending but MY Republican Party - led by Paul Ryan -  just passed an appropriations bill that gives Barack Obama over a TRILLION FRIGGING DOLLARS TO SPEND BETWEEN NOW AND NEXT SEPTEMBER!  (And then the cowards, led by the new DEMOCRAT Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, ran home for Christmas!)

MY Republican Party used to be pro-life, but Paul Ryan just FULLY FUNDED PLANNED PARENTHOOD – which is nothing more than a medical referral service and an abortion factory which now deals in dead baby parts!

MY Republican Party used to be against illegal immigration, but Paul Ryan just FULLY FUNDED SANCTUARY CITIES – which is nothing more than a safe zone for criminals - a place where local law enforcement ignores the laws being broken by illegals!

2010 - MY Republican Party begged the electorate for more people in Congress to block Obamacare….. they got it!  Did nothing about Obamacare!

2012 - MY Republican Party campaigned on needing more members in Congress so they could stop Obamacare and other shit Obama was selling – they got a big majority in the House! Still have Obamacare!

2014 - MY Republican Party again suckered the voters and we gave them a majority in the Senate.  Still have Obamacare!

MY Republican Party AIN’T DONE SQUAT EXCEPT GRAB THEIR BUTTS AND BEND OVER FOR THE DEMOCRATS AND BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA!!!

Mr. Will – do you seriously thing I GIVE A KRAP about MY Republican Party coming to an end?

I’ve had it with RINO’s and I’ve had it with pontificating assholes with a mic pinned to their lapel.  You can all take MY Republican Partyy and shove it up your asses!

I would rather see Donald Trump in the White House with his PEN and his PHONE than any ‘genuine’ Republican I can think of!  And with all the precedent-setting Obama has done with HIS pen and phone, Trump can pretty much rule by executive order and the hell with CONGRESS.  You wanna know another reason I love Donald Trump?  BECAUSE NO ONE OWNS HIS SOUL like the moneyed elite OWNS MY Republican Party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have one more question for the chattering classes:  HAS THERE EVER BEEN ANYTHING, OR ANY TIME, WHEN YOU DECLARED THAT ‘THIS WOULD BE THE END OF THE DEMOCRAT PARTY?’
