THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SHUT DOWN AT MIDNIGHT LAST NIGHT - WHO KNEW!

And who CARES!


Over 800,000 non-essential federal employees have been sent home.  If they ARE non-essential, they should STAY home!  Think of the savings!

A Reuters video shows five ‘shockers’ of the government shutdown:

• FDA inspections of vegetables/fruits will stop; inspections of meat continues
• No panda-cam
• D.C. will not have street sweeping or trash collection (this ALONE could solve the problem with ‘government waste’ – bury the government in its own krap!)
• Websites of the SEC, NASA, USDA and others will go dark  (is this a PROBLEM?)
• The White House staff for the residence area – THE RESIDENCE AREA – will be cut from 90 to only 15‼!  (Awwwwwwww…. What EVER will Michelle do!?)

The great thing about this shutdown..... and it really isn't a RESULT of the shutdown, is that the Republicans failed to get the Personal Mandate for Obamacare delayed for a year.  This means individuals will NOW have to start purchasing GOVERNMENT MANDATED HEALTH INSURANCE. I say LET THE PAIN BEGIN!  I want the Democrats to OWN this disaster next November.
