Seems there's a new law - if you SELL a tax prep product, you have to offer a free version. Anyone besides me have a problem with that? Why are people being arrested and fined for downloading music from sites like Napster? Based on the tax-prep logic, if you sell it, you have to give it away too. Our tax dollars at work and at the mercy of small, liberal brains.
But I digress.... if you think the government isn't taxing the rich, check out the Alternative Minimum Tax.... created to make sure that the 'rich' didn't escape paying their fair share... this 'tax the rich' krap has been demagogued until I want to throw up! Did you ever get a job from a poor man? Pfftttt... Congress did - and they are making us (the ones who gave them their jobs) poorer by the hour.
Here's my oft repeated suggestion to get the attention of the sheeple:
1) All employees should be paid their GROSS (yeah) SALARY IN CASH - COUNT IT
2) They then hand back to their employer: FICA taxes, FEDERAL withholding taxes, STATE withholding taxes. MEDICARE taxes, and any other miscellaneous chit that's taken back from you, the worker.
3) Look what you have left in your hand - COUNT IT
YOU BETTER BET THIS KRAP WOULD STOP!
