I watched Chris Wallace this morning hammer Rick Santorum on his 2-4% charitable contributions since 2007, while Obama’s contributions were markedly higher. Santorum answered that he has 7 children, one of which is a special needs child born in 2008, who needs 24/7 care. He said his insurance doesn’t pay for that so HE has to. He said he should do better and will try in the future but right now his priority is taking care of his family. Wallace kept pressing on this and Santorum repeated his answer.
In order for FOX to try to prove it’s fair and balanced, they attack our guys. There is plenty out there he could attack Santorum on, but this was really unnecessary.
There’s been a lot of talk about so many debates, our candidates attacking each other, them going on MSM shows to be further attacked. Well, I’m glad it’s happening. Let’s get all the skeletons out of the closet NOW, deal with them, and get used to being attacked from every corner because it IS going to happen. Then, when our candidate goes up against Obama in the fall, he can concentrate on this president’s total failure to unite and improve this country.
Bill Clinton’s mantra was ‘that’s old news’. Well, all this infighting needs to also become old news. We must rally around our candidate, even though he may not be our personal choice. No one will fulfill everyone’s criteria as a candidate, but the alternative is unacceptable. We must beat Obama… we are running out of time to turn this nation around.
I'm beginning to think Fox has been turned.
ReplyDeleteLarry, what you are witnessing is favoritism, by Fox. Last night they talked about Ohio and how huge it was for super Tuesday.... when in fact Georgia is the big prize, but because Mitt and Rick are leading in Ohio, they chose to focus on that. Sad display by Fox lately, I might add.
