Edward Klein, Clinton sycophant and author of the article says in his interview with Hillary regarding Benghazi THE IDEA OF BLAMING THE ATTACK ON A VIDEO CAME STRAIGHT FROM OBAMA’S MOUTH!  

[Hillary] had no doubt that a terrorist attack had been launched against America on the anniversary of 9/11. OBAMA'S IRAQ

I hope America is following the complete disaster that is occurring in Iraq.  And anyone who thinks this does not lay at the feet of Barack Obama is a fool.

We have for nearly a century left a fighting force in countries that were, and still could become, our enemies.  Germany, Japan, Korea.  We STILL have military there.  It is a negotiated presence called a Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA).

In the closing months of George W. Bush's second term, he negotiated a SOFA with the Iraqi leadership, which mainly would maintain stability.  The war was won but Iraq was not ready to stand on it's own....  OUT OF RESPECT FOR THE NEWLY ELECTED PRESIDENT, BUSH SIGNED AN AGREEMENT TO MAINTAIN A PRESENCE UNTIL 2011.

In a political decision to 'get out of Iraq', Obama opted to NOT renew the SOFA.

This week a terrorist ARMY has invaded Iraq.  The country is doomed - it is too late for America or the Europeans to do anything but watch.

This is the legacy of Barack Hussein Obama.  He gave a speech (below) about Iraq, and then left for Palm Springs to play golf. (The helicopter is right behind him.)

May God cradle in his arms all those who died to free Iraq.

ANOTHER WHITE HOUSE LIE....

SecDef just finished reading his opening statement before Congress regarding the release of five top-ranking Taliban detainees in exchange for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl - an apparent deserter, if his fellow soldiers in Afghanistan are to be believed.

Two days ago, in a White House briefing, the last question to the interim spokesperson (a rotating job since Carney announced his departure) was:

WHO MADE THE FINAL DECISION FOR THE EXCHANGE?

The spokesperson replied:  SecDef Hagel made the final decision.

Oops..... Hagel just testified that the final decision for the exchange was made by the Commander-in-Chief.  For those uninformed voters out there - THAT WOULD BE OBAMA.

I guess Hagel got tired of the whump-whump-whump-whump sounds as this administration threw him under the bus.

P.S.  In case you aren't following the news of the day - Iraq is being rapidly and violently invaded by a violent Taliban splinter group.... uh oh.

THE TOKEN REPUBLICAN....

It sucks to be Chuck Hagel.

"Let me be clear.....I didn't know until Chuck told me what he'd done"

Hagel served in Vietnam - attained the rank of E5 (Buck Sergeant) and got two purple hearts.  (Unlike Secretary of State John Kerry, who also served in Vietnam and got THREE purple hearts, which got him sent home having never spent a day in the hospital or gotten a single stitch.)  But I digress.....

Hagel had an unremarkable Senate career, beginning in 1997, and was elected overwhelmingly by his fellow Nebraskans.  Initially he voted with his fellow Republicans along conservative lines, supporting Bush after 9/11, but by 2005 he was openly mocking Bush and Cheney on the war in Iraq.  In 2007 he was one of three Republican Senators who supported Democratic-proposed legislation requiring a troop withdrawal from Iraq to begin within 120 days.  Hagel sponsored several pieces of legislation while in the Senate but most were defeated.

When Obama was elected in 2008, he kept Bush's SecDef (Robert Gates) on in his administration until 2011.  This was a sensible decision, as we were in two wars and a change at the top would have been unwise.  Gates retired in 2011 and Obama replaced him with Leon Panetta, who served two years in the military (1964 - 1966) and left the service with the rank of First Lieutenant. Panetta served 17 months as SecDef, and then Obama selected (former) Senator Chuck Hagel to be Secretary of Defense.

In my opinion, Hagel was, by 2013, a Republican in name only, but who cared? He had been out of politics for 6 years.  Since becoming SecDef, Hagel has been again unremarkable, doing Obama's bidding, cutting the military budget from many angles, and supporting and enacting Obama's 'gay/LGBT' plans for the military.

Back to the issue at hand.  After nearly two weeks of increasing outrage at Obama's exchange of five high-value Taliban leaders at GTMO for an Afghan soldier - Bowe Bergdahl - who apparently was a deserter and MAY be a Taliban sympathizer..... suddenly the White House has suddenly come up with the 'fact' that it was SecDef Chuck Hagel who made the call to do the exchange.  I find this hysterical after watching Obama's Rose Garden event (with Bergdahl's parents) where everything was 'I'...'me'...'I'...'I'...'I'... Never was Hagel's name mentioned.  It was only after the national feces hit the oscillating device that Hagel was dragged up and blamed.  Pin the 'tale' on the token Republican.  Brilliant!

If Barack wanted to come out on top of the Bergdhal-Terrorist swap last week, he should have SECRETLY had each terrorist sedated and implanted with a microscopic tracking device.  Can't think of a better way to keep an eye on the Taliban......can you?

Bush wudda had the balls and he would never have told, and we MIGHT have gotten a leg up on the war on terror.

Instead, the traitor in the White House turned loose five of the Taliban's top leaders in exchange for what MAY be a Taliban sympathizer.... what an astute deal!  I feel safer now - don't you?

Q   ....I wanted to ask you if you have learned more about the circumstances of Sergeant Bergdahl’s capture, and whether he could be facing punishment given that the Pentagon has concluded that he left his unit?  Also, could you respond to congressional Republicans who say that you violated the law by not notifying them 30 days in advance and that the release or the transfer of the Taliban prisoners could put Americans at risk?  Did your willingness to go around that 30-day requirement signal a new urgency to close Guantanamo now that you’re ending combat operations in Afghanistan?

PRESIDENT OBAMA:  The United States has always had a pretty sacred rule, and that is we don’t leave our men or women in uniform behind.  And that dates back to the earliest days of our revolution.

Bradley Manning (convicted and serving time at Leavenworth) be transferred to CIVILIAN hospital so he (this PRISONER) could receive a sex change operation so he would forever be 'Chelsea'....... while at the same time our VA Hospitals were cooking the 'patient' books to appear as if they were meeting our veterans' medical needs.  Not sure I've ever been angrier.... until this......

The Obama administration has announced that Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, who has been held by the Taliban for several years, has been freed from his captors. [The Weekly Standard]

In a ‘prisoner exchange’ Obama released FIVE HIGH LEVEL TALIBAN TERRORISTS who had been detained at GTMO.

According to a 2008 Pentagon dossier on Guantanamo Bay inmates, all five men released were considered to be a high risk to launch attacks against the United States and its allies if they were liberated…..[those released include] Mullah Mohammad Fazl, Mullah Norullah Noori, Abdul Haq Wasiq, Khairullah Khairkhwa and Mohammed Nabi Omari.

Fazl - the Taliban’s former deputy defense minister and is wanted by the United Nations for his role in massacres targeting Afghan’s Shi’ite Muslim population.**

Noori - a senior Taliban military figure and, according to his Pentagon dossier, was asked personally in 1995 by Osama bin Laden (PDF) to participate in an offensive against northern alliance warlord Rashid Dostum.**

Wasiq - former deputy minister of intelligence, and crucial liaison between the Taliban and other Islamic fundamentalist groups**

Khairkhwa - a former Taliban governor of Herat, likely participated in meetings with Iranian officials after 9-11 to help plot attacks on U.S. forces following the invasion.**

Nabi - held several military leadership posts for the Taliban and helped organize the al Qaeda/Taliban militias that fought against U.S. and coalition troops in the first year of the war**

In a welcome home Bowe presser, his parents came weeping before the camera, speaking to their son, thrilled that he had been 'released by his captors'.  For some reason, Bowe Bergdhal’s father (Robert) felt compelled to speak to his son in PASHTUN – the language of Afghanistan, and the news conference..... really odd in my mind:

"Bowe, I love you, I’m your father," the senior Bergdahl said, adding that he had wondered if his son still spoke English. "But now I hope when you hear this, and when you’re ready to hear this, and when you’re ready to see this, I hope your English is coming back."  [Even more bizarre.... would you forget English in five years?]

Bergdahl added, “I’m so proud of your cultural abilities to adapt, your language skills, your desire and your action to serve this country in a very difficult long war.

"But most of all, I’m proud — ” Bergdahl then had to stop momentarily as he began to break down in tears “ — of how much you wanted to help the Afghan people, and what you were willing to do to go to that length."

Three days before he went missing, he tells them: 'These people need help, yet what they get is the most conceited country in the world telling them that they are nothing and that they are stupid.'

Bergdahl, who mailed home boxes containing his uniform and books, later added: 'I am ashamed to be an American. And the title of U.S. soldier is just the lie of fools.’

As for me......

My heart goes out to the FAMILIES of the six soldiers who died looking for this deserter.  I also pray for all the families of those who died to capture the five terrorists that Obama has so casually and cavalierly released to fight again another day.

Not only has Obama broken the law by NOT involving Congress in this prisoner exchange, he has broken the Cardinal Rule of AMERICA DOES NOT NEGOTIATE WITH TERRORISTS!

From this moment going forward, any American on foreign soil is now subject to being kidnapped and held as a hostage, to be swapped for some wing-nut criminal.  Obama has set the precedent…. May God have mercy on the United States of America!

 JONATHAN TURLEY: They did. I don't think the White House is seriously arguing they're not violating federal law. To make matters worse, this is a long series of violations of federal law this president has been accused of. I testified twice in Congress about this record of the president in suspending or ignoring federal laws. This is going to add to that pile. I don't think there's much debate that they're in violation of the law. What's fascinating, Carol, is when this law went to the president, he used a signing statement which, if you recall as a senator, he opposed, and ran against for president. But he actually used one in this circumstance and said, 'I'm going to sign this, but I actually think that notice requirement is unconstitutional.' He's essentially arguing the very same principle of George Bush, that when it comes to Gitmo, he has almost absolute power, that it is his prerogative, his inherent authority to be able to make these decisions as he sees fit.
