Mr. Sterling:

I never heard of you until this week, and the one thing I know for sure is that you are dumb….dumb for making the comments you made.  I do not support the things you said.  But this country has a Constitution that gives you the right to say them.

If you have a problem with your girlfriend’s associations, you should deal with that in the privacy of your home and NOT by writing something she can blackmail you with, or by SPEAKING of it in a location where you might be recorded and have THAT used to blackmail you.

Having said that, here is my suggestion(s) for actions I would take were I you, and had your resources.
  • You should publish a complete list of every politician you have ever donated money to, and itemize the amounts you gave OVER THE YEARS.  Regardless of party, it would be time for show and tell. If you are such a miserable racist – apparently not something NEW – why did they keep taking your money.  Time to ask for it back?
  • You should hire a PR firm to run ads on your behalf.  A typical ad could show the Rev. Jesse Jackson making his comment about Hymietown… was he eaten alive by the media for that one?  He did a weepy mia culpa and the dust settled.  Are you any worse than Jesse?  http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/special/clinton/frenzy/jackson.htm
  • Rev. Al Sharpton led a riot 20 years ago in Crown Heights, NY, after an immigrant child was accidentally hit and killed by a Hasidic Jew.  In his eulogy at the funeral, the Rev. Al Sharpton made comments about "diamond dealers" and commented "It's an accident to allow an apartheid ambulance service in the middle of Crown Heights."  In addition, a banner displayed at the funeral [of the child] read "Hitler did not do the job" [Wikipedia]  Nearly 20 years later, Sharpton again made headlines with his National Action Network by leading a rally in Florida during the George Zimmerman trial [using his patented line ‘no justice, no peace]. ******* Al isn’t attacked for being racist…. He gets invited to the White House.  (Maybe Al should hand Barry a check for the $2.4 Mil he owes in back taxes!  But Al gets a TV show and NOT jail time for that one)
  •  “(I get to) kill all the white people… How great is that?” – Jamie Foxx discussing his Django Unchanged role…No one batted an eye – he’s still making movies…. Was his comment any more racist than yours?
  • Mahatma Gandhi “ran a gas station down in Saint Louis.” - Senator Hillary Clinton….and SHE GOING TO RUN FOR PRESIDENT
  • Blacks and Hispanics are “too busy eating watermelons and tacos” to learn how to read and write.” – Mike Wallace, CBS News. Source: Newsmax – Kept his job with CBS News until he retired…. Was what you said worse than that?
  • “Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds.”  Spoken by Former Klansman and now deceased US Senator Robert Byrd, a man who is referred to by many Democrats as the “conscience of the Senate”, in a letter written in 1944, after he quit the KKK. (Byrd was not only a member of the Klan, HE WAS THE LEADER OF HIS CHAPTER!)  He was Senator for Life… until he died…. Are you more of a racist than he was?
  • “I’ll have those niggers voting Democratic for the next 200 years.” — Lyndon B. Johnson to two governors on Air Force One.  I’d call that a bit racist, especially coming from a sitting president (who apparently knew what he was talking about.)  I think THAT is worse than what you said, but apparently no one was bothered by it.
  • “Republicans bring out Colin Powell and J.C. Watts because they have no program, no policy. They have no love and no joy. They’d rather take pictures with black children than feed them.” — Donna Brazile, Al Gore’s Campaign Manager for the 2000 election.  I guess that’s ok since SHE is black.  She is currently Vice Chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee.  No racism here…. Move along.

  • LOL - no comment necessary - a village is missing it's idiot.
  •  “I give interracial couples a look. Daggers. They get uncomfortable when they see me on the street.” – Spike Lee.  Doesn’t own a basketball team but still making movies.
  • Our post-racial president, speaking of the grandparents who raised him:  “The point I was making was not that Grandmother harbors any racial animosity. She doesn’t.  But she is a typical white person…” – Barack Obama
  • Poor Dan…. He kain’t heppit… “(Obama’s) a nice person, he’s very articulate this is what’s been used against him, but he couldn’t sell watermelons if it, you gave him the state troopers to flag down the traffic.” – Dan Rather, CBS Evening News.  Where’s the outrage!?
  • “I’d rather be called a Nigger than a Slave.” – Film critic Roger Ebert – again – where’s the outrage?
  • “A few years ago, (Barack Obama) would have been getting us coffee.” – Bill Clinton to Ted Kennedy.  ROFLMAO!  Where’s the outra….nevermind
  • “The white man is our mortal enemy, and we cannot accept him.” – Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan.  I just threw this one in because Louie is such a froot loop.  But apparently NOT a racist since this was just brushed aside.
Yep, wouldn’t cost much to make ads with all these proper lefties making these comments.  If they are going to paint you as a racist, it’s time to spatter a little ‘paint’ of your own.  Enjoy!
BREAKING:  Sterling has been banned for life from the NBA and can't go near the TEAM HE OWNS!  He's also being fined $2.5 Million and the powers that be plan to force Sterling to sell his team.

Ed. Note:  I LISTENED to what was supposed to be Sterling's 'RANT' yesterday on the news.  I wouldn't call it a RANT.  And while I'm still NOT defending the comments Sterling made, there has GOT to be more to this than meets the eye!  The punishment here does NOT, in my opinion, fit the crime.

Below is the best article to date on this debacle....

4/30/14 UPDATE:

NBA Rumors: Did Magic Johnson Use V. Stiviano To Set-Up Donald Sterling and Realize Plan to Buy L.A Clippers? Theory Gaining Steam

On Tuesday's edition of the Rush Limbaugh show, a Dallas-based caller came up with an intriguing theory behind the Sterling's controversy.  The caller believed Magic Johnson and his group used V. Stiviano girlfriend to set up Sterling and put him on the hot seat.
Limbaugh did not provide a clear stance on the caller's suspicion, but he did come up with an interesting take for his listeners to ponder upon.

"Folks, there's an intricate web being woven here.  This sugar babe (Sterling's mistress) is all over L.A. sports! She's with Sterling...she's with Magic... This whole thing is coming together so clearly," Limbaugh said.
Well, the caller's theory is certainly intriguing.  After all, Magic indeed expressed his intention to expand his sports empire beyond the Dodgers, and he has now become the frontrunner to buy the Clippers franchise, which is expected to on sale for over $1 billion.
