MY THOUGHTS ON THE THOUGHT POLICE

The entire media WORLD is positively freaking out because an 80-year-old bigot made a comment to his 31-year-old girlfriend about blacks.  He happens to be uber-rich, he happens to own a professional basketball team, and he HAPPENS to be a liberal. 

Donald Sterling is an American business magnate and former attorney.  He is the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers in the National Basketball Association. 

From USA Today:  

In a conversation with a woman thought to be his girlfriend, V. Stiviano, Sterling says he didn't like that she posed with Magic Johnson for a photo (posted on Instagram) and didn't want her bringing Johnson to Clippers games.  Her attorney, Mac E. Nehoray, said in a statement that the conversation was legitimate.

OMFG!  This man should be tarred and feathered and ridden out of town on a rail!

But wait….. Sterling was born in 1934…. He has LIVED AND BREATHED racism when it really WAS racism.  He became a wealthy man (not by being on the government tit but mostly by working his ass off) and in 1981 Sterling bought the struggling San Diego Clippers for $12.5 million. 

Sterling’s ‘racism’ is not new.  In August 2006, the U.S. Department of Justice sued Sterling for housing discrimination in using race as a factor in filling some of his apartment buildings.

The suit charged that Sterling refused to rent to non-Koreans in the Koreatown neighborhood and to African Americans in Beverly Hills  The suit alleges Sterling once said he did not like to rent to Hispanics because they "smoke, drink and just hang around the building," and that "Black tenants smell and attract vermin."

My point here is…. Donald Sterling’s background of discrimination is NOT news.  But suddenly, when he tells his girlfriend he’s not excited about her hanging with Magic Johnson, the shit has hit the fan.  Blacks in the NBA who think nothing of calling each OTHER niggers, and calling whites ‘honkeys’ are OMG offended at Sterling’s prejudice.  The blacks like Magic claim Sterling got rich off the back of the black players in ‘the black basketball league’.   I say – those same players were totally free to walk off the court and into the sunset.  But THEY CHOSE TO PLAY FOR STERLING’S TEAM AND TAKE STERLING’S MONEY.

The world is screaming that Sterling should be forced to sell the team.  He’s a racist!  He’s a bigot!  Old news…. Move along.

My thoughts are these….

We have something called the Constitution of the United States of America.

There is not a single line in that document that say ANYONE has the right not to be offended.  There is not a single line in that document that says stupid people can’t say stupid shit most any place they want to.  There is not a single line in that document that says you MUST work for a racist or a bigot – you are not cuffed to the oars – WALK THE FUCK AWAY if you don’t like your boss.  It IS still a free country, despite Barack Hussein Obama.  

In that vein, the black half of our post-racial president made this comment yesterday in during his trip (on our dime) to Malaysia:

At a press conference in Malaysia, Mr. Obama called Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling “ignorant.” The billionaire is suspected of telling a female friend in an audio recording not to associate with black people or to bring them to Clippers games.

This from the same man who sends out his minions like Holder to rant against racism and/or play that tried and true RACIST CARD. 

(Did Obama find the missing airliner?  But I digress….)

In a nutshell, Sterling is a racist and a bigot.  This is NOT news… his opinions have been LONG ignored because he is a BIG TIME DONOR TO LEFTIST CAUSES…. PERIOD!

I would suggest the worthless Congress of the United States hastily proceed with drafting and passing a Constitutional Amendment (not a law – let’s just change the frikking founding document) that states THOU SHALT NOT OFFEND ANYONE BY SAYING ANYTHING THAT WOULD OFFEND ANYONE.  I’m sure Barry would sign it and 35 states would ratify it (rather than be accused of racism!)

That would silence EVERYONE from saying ANYTHING about ANYTHING in the presence of ANYONE.  A nation of mutes….. imagine…. in a couple of generations our vocal cords would become as useless as our appendix has become and we can all be happy.
